About CCBC-Net	English (USA)
CCBC-Net is a listserv encouraging awareness and discussion of ideas and issues critical to literature for children and young adults. CCBC-Net members explore a wide range of topics in contemporary literature for youth, including multicultural literature, translated books, outstanding, and award-winning books, equity themes and topics, the book arts and book publishing, and more. Every month on CCBC-Net we focus on a new topic or issue. Past discussions include: * Young Adult Literature on the Edge * Images of Families in Books for Children and Young Adults * Creative Nonfiction in Literature for the Young * Books for Newly Independent Readers * Evaluating Children's and Young Adult Books by and about American Indians The CCBC-Net Community includes librarian, teachers, university educators and students, authors, artists, editors, publishers, and other adults with an interest in literature for the young. Using CCBC-Net
To post a message to all the list members, send email to ccbc-net@ccbc.education.wisc.edu. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to CCBC-Net
Subscribe to CCBC-Net by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription. You can always request a mail-back of your password when you edit your personal options. Once a month, your password will be emailed to you as a reminder.
